Opened in 2001, Tiger Becs is one of Dublin’s most popular restaurants. Its menu is authentically Thai and was created by celebrated chef Charlie Phuakchoo. Dishes range from traditional Thai curries to mouthwatering seafood dishes. The succulent food is complemented by a stylish interior which is famous in its own right. The Moroccan inspired surroundings were conceived by world famous Parisian designer Miguel Cancio Martins. The restaurant boasts many unique features including hand crafted furniture and a distinctive terracotta-coloured Moroccan tiled floor which took just over a year to complete. It is atmospherically lit throughout and its mirrored walls perfectly complement the hundreds of candles adorning the tables and walls of the restaurant. The illuminated glass brick walls at either end of the restaurant are infamous in themselves; imported from Paris their constantly changing colours further add to the unique lighting aesthetic of the restaurant. With welcoming staff and chic surroundings, Tiger Becs promises its clientele much more than just an enjoyable culinary experience.
